MIST Student Secures Merit Award at Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards 2025
Mubin Hossain Omio, Level-4 student of the Department of Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (NSE), has secured the 4th (Merit) position at the prestigious Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025.
The event took place at the Kaohsiung Arena, Taiwan, from 04 December to 08 December 2025, featuring participation from over 1000 competitors across the Asia-Pacific region.
Mubin’s project, “RADSAFE – IoT and ML Powered Nuclear Radiation Safety System,” received high praise for its innovation and potential impact in the field of safety technology. The award was presented in the presence of the Vice President of Taiwan, who attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
This remarkable achievement highlights the talent and dedication of MIST students on the global stage.
