MIST Civil Engineering Department Hosts CEnertia 25

The Civil Engineering Department of MIST successfully organized CEnertia 25, a vibrant and eventful day-long celebration designed to inspire and showcase the talents of civil engineering students from across the country. With more than 450 participants from MIST and various universities, the campus came alive with innovation, competition, and youthful enthusiasm.

The program was inaugurated by Maj Gen Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, Commandant of MIST, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Following the inauguration, a colorful and energetic rally marked the official opening of CEnertia 25, capturing the unity, creativity, and spirit of the engineering community.

A festive cake-cutting ceremony added warmth to the morning's activities. The Chief Guest then toured the competition venues, interacting with participants, appreciating their creativity, and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence. His presence greatly motivated the students and brought prestige to the event.

Throughout the day, students participated in an exciting lineup of competitions, including truss bridge building, poster presentations, project showcasing, photography contest, mechanics Olympiad, CAD contest, and the thrilling buzzer master challenge. Each event highlighted the participants’ technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and innovative ideas. The environment remained lively as students collaborated, presented their work, and engaged in friendly competition.

CEnertia 25 offered not only academic enrichment but also opportunities for students to network, exchange ideas, and strengthen their teamwork and leadership abilities. Faculty members, organizers, and volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and impactful event.

As evening approached, the enthusiasm shifted seamlessly into a delightful cultural program, where students showcased their artistic talents through music, dance, and performances. The cultural evening provided a joyful and memorable conclusion to the day-long celebration.
